Our ability to handle life’s challenges is a measure of our strength of character.

Character is made up of 2 parts: Moral Character and Performance Character.

Moral Character is the internal compass that helps us to navigate the situations of life with a clear sense of direction and appropriate behaviour

Performance Character refers to the personal traits that enhance the effectiveness of our learning and work.  These include: grit, curiosity, social intelligence, zest, optimism, self-control and gratitude.

At NextGen Builders, we believe that both Moral Character and Performance Character are essential elements of a fulfilled life that maximizes each person’s potential.  We partner with schools, private educational institutions, families, non-governmental organzations as well as companies to bring across the importance of Character.

We also understand that Character Education often needs to be taught in a culturally appropriate manner to maximize its impact (eg. Asian vs Western cultural norms, city vs village references, etc).  Our field workers coordinate closely with local organizations to contextualize good Character Education materials.
